Sunday Dread

Posted: 3 January 2009 in joy, observations, work

Tomorrow is the end of a long stretch of days off.  I think the Sunday 6pm dread I usually get on weekends is five times worse as a result.  It started sometime this morning and is only getting worse.  It isn’t the job, or the co-workers, or anything specific, it’s just dread at having to be doing a specific thing at a specific time.  By Monday mid-morning I’ll be fine again.

In the meantime, I’m successfully building a pair of sawhorses.  I like to think I’m going about it very deliberately.  At least that’s one way to think of 14 Minute Sawhorses that take more than a week to finish…
